This kept the dirt and whatever scary mess is in the airplane luggage compartment off my 7 mth old's carseat. The fabric feels durable and you just can't miss the bright color and label, so it's impossible for the luggage handlers to miss it. It also had a handy zippered bag sown directly into itself so after you're done using it you fold it in and zip it up. Also has a space to write your name on it. Sadly, on my last stop of course, the handlers ripped two big holes on the bottom of it...which made me wonder, as durable as this was, what in the world they were doing with it! I guess that's what duct tape is for.
